if you had the chance to magicly make 3 games from any movie/book (or TV show) what would it be? (ONLY POST 3 At most and Genre (if you want too) It dosnt matter if any one else would like it, These games are just being made for YOU.. So nm how crap the film is.. go for it:D

Mine would be:

The Wickerman (1976) (film)
(Point and click)

Cowboys for christ (movie/book)
(point and click)

Red dwarf (tv)
(Space Sim, birds eye view/over the shoulder shooter & RPG)

How about you?:)

*wonders how long it will be before some one says doctor who and twilight*

An MMO based on EON by Greg Bear maybe. Lots of worlds through time and parallel realities to explore from Thistledown and along the Way, plus an ongoing war for dominance of the Way with the Jarts.

The Alan lewrie series of books - would be happy with a film but game would be fun. An rpg type of game where you rise through the ranks of the royal navy from midshipman to captain and maybe finally Fleet Admiral. Lots of levelling up, prize taking, cannon firing, sword fighting....as well as calling people out.

Always love The Sting so maybe something along the lines of the big con. You start the game with a huge grudge for whatever reason and the game lets you plan from hundreds of types on cons and you make it work. Hiring your team, researching your mark and then slowly the plan unfolds

Dragonlance - MMO

Wrong, wrong and WRONG! If any series ever needed a story-heavy single-player action RPG, it's Dragonlance. An MMO setting would ruin it. Could you imagine trying to raid a dragon's lair with Kender PCs swarming underfoot?

Discworld MMO - surprised nobody's mentioned it.

A sandbox Liveship Traders world, in the vein of Freelancer, but more open. This may do better as an MMO, but arse to the monthly subscription charges.

I'm not sure how the Dark Tower would work as an RPG, maybe as a story based FPS with RPG elements. Or would you have an RPG set in that Universe, how would you represent all the gates? :)

I frankly dont give a flying hoot whether you think its wrong or not, the OP quite clearly said that it was games made just for you and as such indicated it was what you wanted , not what other people wanted, so reign your neck in and stop being critical of other peoples choices
