What film is this? 80/90s in wilderness, canyon swing etc..

Can't for the life of me remember what this film is.

I feel it has a similar kind of story to River Wild.

At one point, someone swings across a canyon and smashes into the side, then clambers back up.

Pretty sure another guy fails to swing across, then a guy has to use a rope to pull his mate back up, he uses a tree as a pulley to do this.

I know it's a bit vague, but want to know what it is.

I know the feeling as I have had a few movies in my head for 30-35+ years and I only ever found out what one of them was and that was only due to the fact I suddenly remembered one of the main actors so IMDB made that easy.

Omg.

I think this may be called "Deadly Pursuit".

I randomly looked up films by the director for "Stop, or my mom will shoot" and the synopsis looked bang on.

Trailer confirms the canyon scene :cool:

I've been looking for this film for 20+ years
