What format you all getting Fallout vegas on

I'll start by getting the 360 version and finishing it on there first. Then when the inevitable Game of the Year version I released with all the future add-ons I'll then get it for the PC as well and mod the hell out of it.

Not GFWL then.... in that case I'll do this ^^^... it's what I did with FO3... it's what I'll do again.

Although still not sure if I should get the Collector's Edition, or where to preorder it from as different places are offering different preorder bonuses, the classic pack bonus is pulling me in due to the canteen, what with the hardcore mode and you needing water...

I'm torn between - FO3 and DLC played great on my PC. I didn't bother with mods and haven't gone back it since although it's nice to have the option. However, the sheer length of the game justifies that I'd be more comfortable sitting on the couch. And before you say... "but it's an FPS" - VATS nullifies the need for the accuracy provided by a mouse.

May well end up just playing through the main game on the PS3 and then collect the GotY Platinum version in a year or so...

PC for me, PS3 for my brother.

He doesn't know any better, but having watched him play Fallout 3 there's no way i could play the console version, too rough and choppy.

Yeah because VATS is unlimited... and has 100% accuracy at all ranges... and works well with Shotguns or automatic weapons or melee weapons... And as for the length of the game... sorry but did you miss the point of open world games? Primary quest != Game length.

Oh wait no it doesn't. So really your reason is pretty poor and is null and void.

I played through Fallout3 and all the add-ons on console and they were amazing.

Picking it up for PC this time however, as it's like £21.

PC of course, for better res and mods. I don't often get multiformat games but Bethesda (obsidian this time) at least have tools for modding so we can fix up the consolitis :p

Im still only 2% of the way through Fallout 3 hee hee so it will be a long time before I get Vegas. But even then I will not get it on release or even soon after. I wanna wait for the special editions with all the addons and such on one DVD.

I got a little clutch of DVDs for Fallout 3 and its expansions and was then gutted when a week or so later the GOTY edition came out ....and all of £11 on Amazon.
