What FPS do you get in Source?

State which settings you play on and how many FPS you get generally...

Also what size servers you play on? Huge, like 30-50 player or the smaller ones? And which maps are your favourite and which you don't like.

Depends on what graphic settings you have but:

Usually 5-15 players, I get 60fps constant but that's because I have a TFT@ 1280x1024@60hz with v-sync on.

Never drops below 60fps whatever.

I get 120-140 fps on a full 16 man server with 1024*1280 HDR off all settings max and with 4*AA and 8X AF.

Never seem to get below 60fps on 64player servers with 4xAA 4xAF @ 1280x1024. *EDIT* - Never have HDR on .

Perfectly smooth to me.

Spec in sig, clocks are defualt of the GFX card now.

60+ on a 40man server. Drops to around 40 sometimes. Everything maxed 4xAA and 8xAF

EDIT: Res @ 1024x786 or w/e, running 15" CRT HDR also on.

I run at 1440*900 Widescreen with all maxed out but no HDR and get a solid 60fps on all maps.

when i had a graphics card i got ~25, (with around 16 players) which scales with the amount of players

I am getting anything from 40 to over 100 FPS on the game with the default graphic settings. Depends on the map and how many players though I guess..

Is that about right for my system guys?

This seems like a good a place to put this than any..

My Source is crashing if I go over a resolution of 1024x768. Judging by the specs of my PC (see sig) I assume this shouldn't be happening, surely my PC is more than enough to handle it?

Haven't changed any of the graphic settings in Source so I assume they are on default.

It's probably a better idea to say what fps you get on the video stress thing.

Everything max, AA and AF 4x, I get between 85 and 100 fps. 1280*1024.

My spec is: A64 X2 4200+ @ 4600+/240*10
1GB value DDR400
6600GT
MSI K8N SLI-Platinum
SB Live 24-bit

Using these settings:

I get average of about 95FPS, sometimes drops as low as 50-60, highest prob about 130-140+

I play in servers anywhere between 10-25 people, and I usually only play Dust2
