Hello, I am soon going to be buying a EVGA 960 SSC. I want this card for gaming, but not just for any game, I am a massive DAYZ enthusiast. What fps would I be looking gto get with this card on Arma 3, DayZ Standalone, and Arma 2? I know there are a lot of factors to play in this decision, but just the averages will do!:)

Also is it worth just going straight for the Evga 970?

Personally i'd go for the 970/290 option due to having 4/3.5GB vRAM. Whereas the 960 only has 2GB.
This depends on your budget and the rest of your pc.

Like said above, not great as it's not very well optimized.

Defiantly spend the extra ££ for a 290 instead of the 960.Or even goin 2nd hand to get a 280x/7970/780.The 960 is just a bad buy in general

Dayz/arma ect are extremely CPU bound, your main priority will be to get a nice overclock on your CPU to increase performance in these games.

For raw performance, any of the listed cards will be more than fine for top notch graphical fidelity in arma 2/3.You really want to use resolution in scaling in A3 too ,greatly improves the IQ without much performance penalty :)

The only thing this is missing is a case and and some secondary HDD's,which you may already have.Sadly CPU prices are extremely high atm due to currency exchange rates.Atm the I5 is about £35 more than it should be

I agree, it's not very good for optimization. But I've played dayz for 3 years, it's a game I have played on 17FPS and destroyed squads with my heart ready to explain with adrenalin. I don't have any case yet I've seen one for £58 which is a cooler master N600. And I have a 1TB hard drive but no SSD

This board supports SLI+Crossfire at 8X/8X, but probably pointless for you?

That will all fit in a Coolermaster N600.

These two cases are ok for the money,
