What free or cheap video editors are people using?

I need to make a simple video for a blog post. I'll probably only do a couple of them so I don't want to shell out for FCP so I was wondering what people here used for video editing?

The free Apple one, forget what it’s called. iMovie or something.

iMovie is really good, you'd be surprised at how well it works and how intuitive it is.

I completely forgot about iMovie because I uninstalled it last year. Thank you! That looks perfect.
