Looking to invest in some 360 games, gonna get the godfather but thats a long wait and I want something now, any reccommendations?

I already have

Hitman - Great game,crashes a lot though
Fifa WC 2006 - Ok though crashes a fair bit.
DOA4 - Not My Cup Of Tea
PDZ - Poor Remake
King Kong - Strangely Good.

So far I'm not loving the console and I really need some kick ass games.

Oblivion for longevity?
PGR 3 if you like racers?
Condemned, chilling as hell!
Tomb Raider, awesome game, TR back to how it should have always been!

In fact, personally, I would go for Tomb Raider next.

I would agree TR is amazing!

I quite enjoyed playing Ridge Racer aswel although it does get a little boring after a while

CoD 2 is pretty sweet

how long would TR take to complete though?

Took me a few days in between work etc. but thats just getting from start to finish, there are other things to do in the game like time trial and collecting all the secrets etc.

Have you considered renting games?

Not too long, it could be rushed through very quickly. But where's the fun in that? It's a great game irrespective of it's length.

If you want a game to get into for the long haul, get Oblivion.

Moto gp is much better than PGR imho. Its much harder and much more satisfying. Graphically its not as polished but its much more fun.

Graw. Excellent multiplayer fun.

TRL is a very good game.

Everything else has not really impressed me much.

The first few months where great, now the game line up is starting to get on my nerves. If the outlook is still like this by christmas and they dont improve the problems this last batch of games has had, then I wont be a happy bunny.

I disagree. It would have been a good challenging game which i would have devoted hours to perfecting, but the time penalties for going off the track just **** me off no end, and couldnt get into it for that simple matter.

After a day or so, you dont get any penalties anymore. They only effect you in quallies. Other than that the penalty doesnt effect you.

PDZ isn't a remake, it's a prequel to the original.

Few good games imo

Oblivion-Great story, you can make the game be as long as you want as ther are dozens of quests
Table Tennis-Cheap and great fun on live
Kameo-Brilliant game, not only for kids ;)
Burnout Revenge-Played this on live at my mates house, it's immense~!
Battlefield 2-Great fun online and a decent single player mode
Cod 2-Brilliant single player, very fun online

another vote for lara, okay it isn't that long but you can pick it up for good price online (or look on some auction sites). plus if you want to complete it 100% there are lots of hidden things you have to collect which gives it a bit extra longevity.

burnout is a lot of fun if you want mindless thrills and utter carnage, great game too.
