What game 'hooked' you the most?

CS(S) was hooked big time over a long period. Short term i remember installing Dark Forces upon release and played it straight through from start to finish in one session, just couldn't put it down.
 
css, and FF8, played that game over 200 hours first time through (well more but that's all the timer went up to) however it always broke in the start of the final castle, First it killed my ps2, then when i tried it with emulator on pc the discs broke, with downloaded iso's the pc broke :(

I think its a game I'm destined never to finish, but im going to give it another go in summer hols. lock the door and play non stop for 3 weeks. And if that fails I'm going to leave it till the day i retire, and spend the rest of my life trying to play it.
 
red alert. I would always play a skirmish game when i got home from school. On the dot at 3.35pm, for about 1 hour, then i wouldnt touch it for the rest of the day.

and civilisation for some stupid reason

Legend of zelda, link to the past. love this game, playing it again on my ds with a emu. took me an age to complete the first time, then did it again straight after!

Original CS beta 6+ Very late nights with Fox on oilrig, oh the memorys

Desert combat beta7 i miss this game. BF2 just didnt take it on a notch imo

EVE, hmm i need a new game.
