I was primarily a PC gamer till about a couple of weeks ago when we bought an xbox360...

On teh PC I play primarily flight sims, RTS (sup com), 1st person shooters (CoD2, CoD4, Team Fortress2), and strategy/thinking things like Combat Mission (1 to 3)

We've picked up a few games that we enjoy, and i've staisfied my need for racing with Forza2, MotoGP07, SBK08, and have a couple of the LEGO games, plus PES2008, and Tomb Raider Legend.

From these, after I've satisfied my bike gaming need i find that I like Tomb Raider the most, with the challenging puzzles, yet able to play mainly at my own pace...

So, wondering if from the description above you could help guide me to another game with a similar feel to Tomb Raider in terms of taking it at more of a relaxed approach, but still challenging ?

Prince of Persia? Really enjoyed playing this. Certainly not the hardest of games, it just flows so well as a package. Plus fairly hefty DLC available at the end of the month to keep you occupied.

I wasn't a big fan of Prince of Persia but I would recommend Crackdown or Assassin's Creed.

I'd also suggest taking a look at Dead Rising, one of the best and most original games to be released this generation.

Grab some demos.

Gears Of War II, best Xbox 360 game around at the moment period IMO, good gameplay, looks very pretty and WHAT a score it has, the music is epic to say the least!

Cheers again for the input... I think that the shooter games I have on the PC will keep me happy for a while in that style of game... i was really looking for somethign a little more relaxed ala Tomb Raider... :)

what do you mean by challenging but relaxed? do you mean like a game with loads of save/checkpoints so it doesnt have long sittings if you dont want to?

no, I'm enjoying Tomb Raider as most of the time its a case of trying to solve a puzzle in my own time with no time constraints... i really enjoyed pushing the blocks around in the first "act"... jumping on the see-saw etc.
whereas for faster paced stuff i'got the racing and shooter games ;)

Check out Crackdown as already mentioned and Condemned for some bargain games. (Then if you enjoy Condemned get the second one too).

Rock Band 2 & rent RB1 & spend 400 points bringing the songs over, JD. You don't need owt else apart from a plaggy guitar & a crap load of points for the plus 460 tunes you can download if you want.

FIFA09.
The footy game that satisfies.

GRID.
In your face racing that proper grabs you.

The Orange box.
