What game to buy

need a new game, one that will last a while, got bored with FEAR, nearly done max payne 2, waiting for far cry to come, NFS Carbon is rubbish what a waste of £30 that was!

So far nothing will slow down my rig when its on max settings :

e3600 @3.2ghz
2gb ddr pc6400
ati radeon x1950xt iceq
gigabyte s3 on 480fsb

and nothing will slow it down!

whats oblivion all about ?

is PREY any good ?

got doom3 sitting here installed but doesnt seem very nice graphics wise, this lcd doesnt do dark pictures too well :(

also, i bought a saitek controller for nfs carbon and when i drive the car steers all the way to the right. after calibrating it in CP it now steers all the way to the left, faulty controller ?

I played the Dark Messiah demo yesterday and its the best demo Ive ever played and that will certainly be the next game I purchase. Check it out yourself, you can find the demo on Steam
 
If Doom3 looks poor on your TFT then Prey will too, although it's an excellent game. Lovely machine you have there. Considered getting a better screen if it's letting the rest down?

Far Cry is superb and worth waiting for.
 
32" lcd coming my way in april, along with an R600 if its out then........

downloading battlefield 2142 demo, wont make the mistake of buying blind again, not at £30 per game!
 
oh yeh and i bought battlefield vietnam and thats rubbish aswell! theres no plot to it and its a bit unrealistic even compared to delta force bhd!

is BF2 the same ? i hope not!

It's not made for singleplayer :rolleyes: It's made specifically for MP. Also, lately I've been playing Quake 4 and am loving it! Highly reccomended and quite good graphics.
 
Deffo check out the highly rated game Elder Scrolls: Oblivion & its Expansion game.

GTA: San Andreas is a cool game, Scarface looks good and its on my xmas shopping list ;)

How about some SC: Double Agent
 
Another thumbs up for Dark Messiah, a very entertaining good looking game that you'll play through to the end.
 
If you like RPG's then Oblivion is a masterpiece second to none. I thought Dark Messiah was utter rubbish with horrendous loading times and linear samey gameplay.
