Hi Guys, Im just sorting out my new PC should be ready in a week or so. I have not played online in prob 10 years. I have checked out a few games on You tube etc.. Battlefield 1 looks fantastic so im going to get that, Are there any others that are worth a look. I used to play BF2, BF2142, SC Source & COD 2 to name a few.. any you would recommend ? What do you play ?

My apologise guys. I have just seen the GAMES section..ADMIN ??

Run around, try not to get killed and be the last person standing.

Safe area shrinks over time, forcing everyone closer together... Its a lot of fun as all your opponents are real people (as opposed to bots). Its hard, but I am really enjoying it atm!

Hahahah I just been given my old Valve/Steam account back.. I had to prove to Steam it was mine....thats easier said than done when its nearly 15 years old, they asked for bank statements showing my bank acccount buying Counter Strike.. from 15 years ago ?? your having a bubble Steam :)

Game on..

I purely play solo. I prefer it that way, nobody to watch out for but myself.

Running and gunning, sneaking etc... All are valid tactics, luck on the initial loadout/findings changes how each game is played. :)
Buy it, play about 3-4 hours to get a feel for whats going on and I am pretty sure you will enjoy.

PUGB's developers are ********* and don't deserve support through.

I've been playing the alpha for Holdfast recently. That is a pretty funny game, it's not supposed to be but it is :D Early 1800s style battles with crap muskets, ships, cannons etc. Even has drummers, pipers and violinists lol. The thing I like is it uses the old formula for online shooters, no silly DLC or unlocks etc. Just 128 player fun on proper servers and big open maps.

Get with the times man :).

Ventrillo is rubbish and what the hell is Speakeasi?!

Nowadays most people use Discord or the Twitch Desktop app (which are both free) or if you want your own self hosted solution then Mumble is the way to go (Mumble itself is free but you have to pay for the server to host it on).

Edit: I wouldn't recommend Teamspeak as it isn't free so you need to pay more than a Mumble server costs and Mumble has just about all the features of Teamspeak anyway. The permission system in Mumble is particularly powerful.

Edit 2: Seems my info on Teamspeak is out of date if you host the server yourself. Still, I'd recommend Discord, the Twitch Desktop app or Mumble over Teamspeak.
