What games benefit from higher RAM clock speeds?

People have told me that certain games that heavily use one thread will benefit from higher RAM clock speeds, what would an ideal RAM speed be? currently I have 2666mhz and I'm considering going to 3200mhz

Have you tried overclocking and setting a higher xmp profile for the ram ?

See if you can get it up to 3000mhz

I did, up to 3000 mhz. To my surprised it was running at 2133mhz by default!

Yes, the official support mhz.
You be hardpressed to notice any difference with games and ram speed.
without a fps meter that is.
