What games benefit from higher RAM clock speeds?

People have told me that certain games that heavily use one thread will benefit from higher RAM clock speeds, what would an ideal RAM speed be? currently I have 2666mhz and I'm considering going to 3200mhz

I did, up to 3000 mhz. To my surprised it was running at 2133mhz by default!
