what games do i need then?

got bored of pc gaming so asked santa for a ps3 and the nice man has brought me one.

games i know i need

metal gear solid 5
fightnight round 4
modern warfare 2
possibly resident evil 5 to as that was immense on pc

so what others do you recommend?

like both sp and mp

also if its aloud to be asked, wheres cheapest place to buy games from? store wise not online

Uncharted 2 is a must buy :)
got beat to it drat .......
I enjoyed little big planet and killzone 2 is my fav mp game on ps3 so far , just wish it would have had co-op .

Metal Gear Solid 5 might be a little hard to get hold of ;)

But seriously, the Uncharted series contains by far and away the best games of this generation.

Well at least with the console version of this game, you get offline co-op split-screen with a local player, and even though you need to pay for it, the extra Versus DLC modes. Utterly ridiculous and stupid that the PC version cut these features out as they add more to the multiplayer side of things.

Plus at least you are sure to get the extra new content that will be released next year around March time, something which hasn't really been confirmed for the PC version yet, and even then it will probably be later in the future so that means a longer wait.
 
I would hold off RE5 for the moment as there is the new *****-wand-waggle version coming along in spring. Apparently.
 
*****-waggle will come within the DLC, or you could wait for the Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition which will contain the original game with all the new stuff to be out next year in a single retail disc. Whichever method you go by, either by getting the new DLC seperately or the new retail disc version, all content will end up the same as each other.
 
well what can i say besides awsome! i had a ps3 before but sold it the day i got it as i wasn't interested

regret that now and prefer it way more over the 360 i had to, just been and bought hdmi cable/bluetooth headset/ another controller/ RE5/FN round 4/UFC/COD MW2, a bit costly like but never mind

hdmi cable brings it straight alive, can't see difference in graphics between pc and ps3's MW2, also find it smart that i can use my logitech keyboard :)

[edit] o and i havent forgot about uncharted 1-2, my dad as them so gunna nick them off him next time i pop up
