I know its weak but got a laptop on order and might stick a couple of games on it for when I am away with work.

May be helpful to post the processor (and RAM) as well, as for instance X3 is quite CPU intensive compared to its graphics, which at least you can turn down.

I'm out of touch with mobile GPUs so cant be any direct help though.

bang in HD4330 into youtube too mate, few vids on there of games running on laptops with this card...seems to do ok!....quite suprised

Which laptop? Is it the Acer 8371? I've updated a few on the list based on my Acer 8371 with the Intel Core 2 Duo 1.4Ghz and ai 4330 GPU.

X3 terran conflict - Playable
BFBC2 - I doubt it
l4d - Possible played reasonable on low settings on my old nebook
led2 - I doubt it
TF2 - Maybe on low settings
stalker + clear sky - Again I doubt it
borderlands - Not sure
mass effect - Yes runs fine on low/med settings
ut3 - Not 100% but I would imagine so
avp - Not sure
cs-s - Yes should run on low
titan quest - Not sure
dragon age - Yes I have it running brilliantly on med settings
fallout 3 - I hope so, this ran on med settings on my old netbook
witcher - Not sure
BF2 - Yes Med Settings

Well in the few days I've had mine I've found it to be very decent, although I was trading up from an HP netbook which has quite a poor CPU so all I wanted was something that would run games a wee bit better.

try aiming a little lower.

rediscover some older games or try something basic like plants vs zombies.

I'd say low res and all settings low then the vast majority of the list. I think that on most laptops you have to be satisfied with gameplay rather than eye candy. With that limitation many games are playable on surprisingly low specs.
