What games to buy?

Hi, Im thinking of what games to buy that is out atm. I would prefer fps/rts and recently I am into Sim games such as flight sim. Any recommendations?

If the game is good and not part of the genre I prefer, please do still post it and I will have a look. Thanks a lot.
 
Company Of Heroes is meant to be awesome (rts)
FEAR and the respective addon (fps)
GTR2 (sim) (presuming you like racing games aswell as just sim games)

Its a real time strategy set in world war 2 (I think) and plays pretty similarly to Dawn of War from what I see. I haven't had a chance to actually play it myself yet though, all I've heard for it is praise though, and it looks awesome visually.

What a muppet, just release I wrote that wrong. I meant Company of Heroes :o
 
yea, I have heard good stuffs abt CoH. Might look into that, and yes I have been planning to get GTR2 for a while now. But I need to get G25 wheel first lol
 
Yuu could do worse than take a look at Dawn of War: Dark Crusade (PC DVD-ROM).

I've played all the previous ones and really liked them

Just to add I have just finished Company of Heroes. I enjoyed it a lot but was a bit dissapointed with the population cap of 75. If you like the big tanks they take up 14 population per tank!

Also to have it on high settings you need a pretty high spec pc. My FX-53, 1gb ram and X1900XT struggled a little when running it

A second vote for CoH, i'm up to the 6th mission in the campaign i think and im really enjoying it. Best part up to now is using the artillery to bombard the jerry's in cherboug (the sounds are awesome). I say no more i dont wanna give anythin away. :p buy it :D lol.
