If you had the ability and chance to kickstart any game project, what or which one would it be?

( hope that makes sense, had a migraine today so :p )

For me it would have to be Deuteros! (Amiga)

Designed by Ian Bird and released in 1991. The game is set some 800 years after Millennium, in a time when mankind has won the struggle to make the Earth habitable again but lost its spacefaring capabilities, which it is seeking to regain. This is no ordinary space game and so far there has been no game like it since. In my youth of playing it which was purchased at a local market I spent an entire summer without hardly ever seeing daylight just playing it. The object of the game is to mine resources, research new tech and to colonize further out into the solar system.

Driving Simulator World

...its a game idea I've had for many years. Its basically a driving simulator where you can drive anywhere in the world.

are we talking retrospectively?

If so, I would have backed Transport tycoon as it was the first game I ever owned, and is still amazing today!

If I could back anything today, it would have to be SWAT 5, absolutely loved 3 and 4 and think with todays graphic technologies and AI, if it wasn't dumbed down it would be amazing!

Quake 5 :

a crap ton more levels

more items to pick up, many more

folk lore / diary entries

no cut scenes, and no need to spend too long on the visual apsects as long as it's adequate by today's standards

some rpg elements, so it would be an fps / rpg title

remain pretty faithful to the style of the first game

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 - NOT SOLELY A MP!

Dungeon Keeper 2! (although I'm sure someone's already got a Kickstarter up there for a game like it, billing it as the spiritual successor)
Grim Fandango
Ghost Master

Deuteros is a good choice. Dungeon Keeper 2 is another one I'd love to see a sequel to.

Wouldn't mind a 'proper' SWoS sequel without the stupid comedy effects. A new Speedball game wouldn't go a miss (again not the rubbish that they made in thirty seconds and released a while back).

Finally I'd love a new Elite / Freelancer game.

I'd also like some different genres other than FPS.
