Generally get a lappy with at very least an X600 or Nvidia equivalent + gig of ram (or 2 if you can specify it during purchase). Depends on your budget as they are coming down in price but you pay quite a premium for heavy hitting graphics in laptops.
Im pretty sure theres a few laptops from various manufacturers that have a laptop PCI-e slot so you can upgrade the graphics.
