the Asus version (PG329Q)
That's no 4K monitor but run of the mill 2560x1440.
From currently available ones Innolux panel based M32U is about the most balanced.
But I would consider it half assed.
First colour gamut is more like semi wide not even covering DCI-P3, with of course further deficiency in greens (+cyan) to AdobeRGB.
And overdrive isn't as well tuned as in LG panels and is toward agressive side with some overshoot even at full 144Hz, with overshoot naturally growing at lower hertzes.
Also HDMI 2.1 isn't true 48Gbps port, but really just HDMI 2.0+ and maxes at half of that.
Unfortunately for some inexplicable reason LG has been sitting with thumbs in its collective butt and hasn't released single high fps 32" 4K IPS panel.
(and even 27" has super bad availability)
In CES they announced 32" model, but best you can hope for availability is second half of the year.
And considering their 4K monitor history real availability is likely at best for Christmas.
AU Optronics has now the widest gamut monitor, but currently available models have response times from half dozen years.
(qith FALD panel in insanely priced Asus PG32UQX even little slower than non-FALD panel)
Acer actually even cancelled launch of monitors apparently because of not being satisfied with performance.
But there's now new FALD panel in production, which should have modern response times. (and AUO is well capable with 27" 2560x1440 panels among the best)
Monitors with that panel should be out late winter/spring with Acer's "re-scheduled/+named" X32 FP beign one of the first.
