Looking to upgrade my monitor,Currently stuck on a LG IPS 60HZ 1920x1080 which is fine but does hurt my eyes compared to my old LG 120Hz TN Panel,And i do notice quite significant screen tearing in Xplane 11.

Im stuck what to really go for,Should i go for the highest refresh rate possible but it possibly be a TN panel,Or stick with a VA or IPS panel but be on 100/144Hz.

Also as i have an Nvidia card (1070Ti) should i go for Gsync or FreeSync (G-sync compatible) like what Overclockers sell?

Im leaning more towards a 1440P / 144Hz route as a 4K monitor would be nice but the refresh rate just isn't there,Certainly not within say £400/450 budget that i could see so far.

appreciate the help :)

Really appreciate your replies guys, been looking at monitors 2 days now and still cannot decide what to go for,Im a bit like meh should i write off VA panel because i dont like the look of that "Black crushing",Would drive me up the wall i think :D

While the higher refresh rate is very tempting on the TN panels,You guys reckon i should go with.

1440P / IPS / Freesync?

Thinking of one of these...

Downfall of that monitor ^ 4ms :/

VA panel (potential black crushing?) ^
