What gaming mouse do you use?

MX518.by far best gaming mouse I have ever owned tried a few before and a few ofter, and this one for me is still the best got a new one stashed in the cupboard should this one ever die :D

Death adder, the most ergonomic mouse I have ever used.

Right shape, right weight, looks beautiful, highly accurate, sanely priced.

What more could you want?

Steelseries Kinzu. Covered in a "soft rubber" style of plastic so it feels comfortable, maybe too small if you prefer to palm your mouse rather than grip though...

But definitely great! Customisable DPI/refresh rate with a button allowing you to switch between profiles.

tbh, whatever I buy, I'll prob grab another MX518 for a spare anyway, as it's awesome for a no-frills mouse :)

Sidewinder X8
I've already got a sidewinder X6 keyboard, so the X8 would fit in nicely.. any idea how the size/shape compares to an MX518? I'm a lazy gamer, I palm the mouse with my whole hand.

MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 :)
My first mouse was the Intellimouse 3, and in all fairness I loved it. If I could get the exact same mouse with variable DPI, I'd be all over it.

MX518 overclocked to 500hz :D
How do you change the polling rate on a regular '518? I doubt I'd even notice the difference, but I love to tinker :p

Diamondback 3g.

Only issue with it is, the drivers don't allow you to program some of the buttons as ''mouse button 6'' or ''mb 7'' which is retarded imo, you have to use 1 or 2 buttons for one of the razer rubbish like on the fly sensitivity adjustment, I want mouse 6 and 7 instead to program stuff ingame to it.

I've had my MX518 for about 3 years. Best mouse I've had and didn't stop working after 6 months like all others I've owned.

Death Adder for me. Why? Well I would say it's down to three main things :

1. The sensor is very, very good.

2. It feels so comfortable to use.

3. The mouse wheel is by FAR the best I've used on any mouse.

Compared to some others it hasn't as much 'frills' but for reliability I haven't yet had anything as good. The G5 was good but it never felt even close as well suited when in use as the Death Adder does. Some people say the build quality isn't that good but I'd still say it's more than adequate. Certainly not poor quality. Nothing of the sort.

Using the MX518 here and about to get a replacement from logitech because the feet have worn off, not sure why they just didn't send me new feet tbh lol. Hopefully the new 1 will last another couple of years.
