What gaming mouse ?

I've got a Logitech G500 which I think is really good. 5 DPI levels, 5.7k max DPI, macros etc. Pretty comfortable and it has frictionless scrolling which is awesome.

I have a Razer Mamba £100 a Razer Deathadder Respawn £40 and a second hane Mx518 £15.

The MX518 is the best out of them all...

The MX518 isn't objectively better than the Deathadder. The Deathadder has a superior sensor with higher perfect control speed and no mouse prediction (MX518's prediction is the only thing stopping it from being flawless like the Deathadder).

You may like the MX518 more which is fine, but the Deathadder has the best sensor you can buy on a mouse with 5 buttons.

Sorry I should have been clearer. The Razer mice are technologically superior but the mx518 "feel" is imho the best. I spent a lot of money on the other mice for my gaming rig and laptop so went for a cheapo one for the gf's rig. I heard about the mx518 ability on here so took a punt. I was honestly surprised at how good the mouse feels and just seems to work better with me for fps games in particular.

I use the MX518, really happy with it so far. Had it about 3 months. Can't really compare it to anything though as i came from a cheapo mouse. Recently added he Boogie Bug AimB.Pad XL mat and couldn't be happier with it.

Never actually found one I've been happy with in all honesty. They're either too wide for my hand or the buttons are in silly positions. I've always ended up coming back to a plain old 3 button job, using keys for functionality.

I had a G5, but the writing wore off and the coating on the left click button wore off and become quite rough. The mouse wheel also felt very cheap and 'clicky'. It's not a patch on the Razer Naga i've got now.. Your thumb which is usually hovering over 1 or 2 buttons on conventional mouse instead has access to 12 buttons on the razer naga, so you don't need to take your fingers off WASD. Makes switching between weapons much much faster than pressing the buttons on the KB.

Downsides is, it takes some getting used to, made for right handed people only and quite expensive.
