what gfx is best for me please

hi all i am gona do an upgrade next month will b playing games like qwet(when it gets here) rainbow 6,,cryiss,, i only play at 1400 by 900 widescreen is an 320 8800 enough foe me please :)
 
....and hold of for a few days/weeks. There is a 8800 price cut coming (apparently).

From what I've seen the 8800 320 is consistantly a good performer for the money, and you might even be able to mod the shader clocks and gpu clock to a sufficient level where the performance is even better if your lucky, to get over the lack of not having 640MB.

Any idea when the 8 series price cuts are coming Scougar? A cheaper 8800gts 320mb could totally change my upgrade plans in the coming month.
 
well a 320mb gts will be fantastic, don't believe everyone who says theres no point spending anymore. If you want to be able to run at higher resolutions in the future or want to be sure your card will run up and coming games at full texture quality get the 640mb. We have allready seen games that like 512mb to use there highest texture setting. Again if you want something that will give you on average a 10-20fps frame boost in pretty much everything, over the gts then get the gtx. All depends on your budget.
