What golf game for the pc

Hello,

I have always played tiger woods on the pc but since the demise of EA who chose last year to stop doing it for the computer I am at a loss as to where to go next. I do not want a fun type golf or childish game I would like something on the same par "excuse the pun" as the tiger woods series. Is anyone making a good graphically pleasing golf game thses days?

All someone needs to do is go back to the old PGA and the way it played, put in some better graphics and improved ball physics and they have a winner. I just wish somebody would

Last one of those I bought, you had to do this bizarre movement with the mouse to hit the ball - usually the player fell over for the hour I played it.

Does it not prove anything to u guys. We all have nothing but fond memories. Who is going to break the ice and make a nice golf game that looks and plays great

Tiger Woods 08 is about as good as it gets. Just a very nice, quick game. You can be as slow or fast as you want and it's very customisable on the difficulty front.

best golf game I have ever played was Microprose Golf on the Atari. Played it for hours on end. Links LS was nice as well.

TW08 is good, but there was always loads of cheaters using modified mice or rulers online.

Course design was a lot of fun but I lost too many weekends to it!

Course designer would be fun - narrow those 300 yard wide fareways and hand manicured greens from the US tour
