What GPS (Tomtom) to get fr my dad ?

What GPS (Tomtom) to get for my dad ?

I am basically posting this for my dad as he is after a GPS, not having a car myself i have no idea what is good and what is bad. So I am asking all the motor guru here which GPS (tomtom?) are best for value, good signal, good interface...etc (etc as i don't even know what qualities to look for in a GPS apart from accuracy !)

Something around £300 would be good.

What about the Tomtom 300? is it much better?

Hi,

I've had the TomTom ONE for awhile now and its excellent. I highly recommend it. I'd go with the ONE over the 300 considering it has a faster processor and a more accurate chipset.

Strange that its cheaper but more accurate and faster !
