TBH a 5770 draws about the same as a 3870 but is about twice as fast. Might be worth considering?

EDIT - Was working from memory. Actually the 5770 draws a couple of watts less....

Changed my PC from crossfired XFX 4870 1GB's to a single 5870 when the 5870 went EOL and really cheap.

Step son's PC was running a Sapphire 4870 512MB, now he's got one of my XFX 1GB ones instead.

HTPC runs an on-board HD3200.

Other step son's laptop runs an integrated Intel GMA950 graphics chipset and has a panic attack anytime it thinks about running anything more taxing than YouTube! :rolleyes:
