Hi all you fellow OC'ers
Hate to bother you all, but i will be purchasing a new GPU in the very near future and over the past few years i have stuck with AMD because of Driver support and cheapness
There are lots of good deals on Nvidia cards recently with the new AMD R2** gpus out. But i like the idea of staying with AMD with all the new consoles out being amd ...mantle etc etc.
But i have been jealous of physics capability of the nvidia chips once they bought out ageia in the past.
I am currently running 2 x 6950 2Gb 820 Core 1250 Mem on a Gigabyte board GA-990FXA-D3 with a FX-8350 at 4.2GHz on air with 16Gb of RAM at 1600 (2x 8gb 10-10-10-29)
Shall i go Nvidia 7** or AMD 290x (If i can afford the X!!) or wait until new year for the prices to drop.
PS Sorry about the MB choice, all i could afford at the time, why i cant get any more out of chip than 4.2!
Thanks all who read this essay!
