Got this mobo GA-P35-DQ6 and a Q6600 for a gaming rig for my 8yr old nephew. But i need a gpu so he can play most games with medium-high settings. He will be playing initially on a 15" monitor, until i can get him a larger screen, so low res. . I have a 9500GT 512mb, but i don`t` think it is up to the task.
So what would you recommend?

The HD 6770 is a good choice for a low cost card (it is basically just a rebadged HD 5770 - which are known to be decent cards).

If you want to go for more performance, this excellent HD 6850 for £100 is a nice deal.

Here is how a HD 6850 compares to a HD 6770/5770 in games.

Not to sure on the budget.
Might see if i can get a better monitor and just use one of my 560ti`s. I have a 22" AWD monitor, powers on, but all i get is a black screen, may take it to local repair shop and see if they can do anything with it.
Will bear in mind the recommendations and also check out the MM.
Tbh, as he`s only 8, don`t really want to spend to much. Just want something for him to have a good gaming experience and to learn more about computers.

AMD 5770 XXX edition(factory overclock).

Buying this for £55. This should do him. Thanks again guys for your recommendations.
