Im going to assume there are some people on the forum who likes these games and especially if they have xbox pc game pass.

It seems to be a popular game for game tester reviews which is what i do(minus the talking), but my computer even on low runs terrible.

5900x
16gb 3200mhz
RX 570 4gb Powercolor

Granted my gpu is below the minimum, but its not too far off a 1060 and 580 and i didnt get any errors for my specs, but it only nets me around 10fps which isnt great.

Ive read its a game thats been giving off mix results and so im curious what any of you that plays the game are running?

9070xt, runs great at 1440p. Loving the game btw, been playing for a few months now, was running a 7900gre which also ran it really well.

Pretty sure that 4gb vram is going to punish you badly on this game. Even 8gb cards were struggling when it was released.

thanks for reply.

I was running at 1080p 60hz as its connected to a portable monitor currently, but my main use monitor is a 60hz 4k monitor. I dont remember the first game and likely wont play this one much, its mainly for testing, but obviously i need it to run properly ha.

I wish all games had a gpu vram usage like certain ones, much easier to know the difference in settings. i knew 4gb was going to be pushing it, all part of my current games testing, but i thought it might have done better. i can run bo6 on medium/mix settings at 50-70fps and to me that would be a more demanding game.

RTX3070.

Some of the time, area depending, the performance can be surprisingly good when using a mixture of settings, though a fair few options are at high/epic.

Other parts of the game, though, become unplayable (lack of video memory). Will wait to see if GPU prices alter for the better, as a 9070XT looks to be the best option at the mo.
Although way above MSRP, at least now, one can usually bag a 9070 (non-XT) without too much trouble.

7900XTX. At 4k+FSR, it got >60fps in most places, dropping to the 40's in towns with lots of NPCs. It felt pretty smooth even in the places that didn't run so fast. That was at release - it might have improved since then.

Was running on a 3090FE until upgrading to a 9070XT today.

The 9070XT is brilliant in Stalker 2. Hitting 100-170FPS with FSR and FG, much smoother than the 3090 with DLSS and FG.

When FSR4 gets added it'll be fantastic.

5090 running it at 4k maxed out with DLSS quality, no FG. 90-130 fps

Turning on FG and/or reducing DLSS to balanced can easily send the FPS above 200 but I'd rather not use FG unless I have to
I'm tempted to use balanced DLSS though, especially now DLSS 4 is a thing

Yeah same here. Frame gen and FSR native. Hitting well over 100fps at 1440p. Really couldn't tell that there is any frame gen. I guess one frame when it's already over 70fps is ok.
