I'd have thought you'd struggle to find a 60" 1080p TV these days. Even the budget ones are 4K now. 1080p's mostly been relegated to 32" and under in the super budget sector. But no, playing on a TV is exactly the same as playing on a monitor of the same resolution. It doesn't affect the GPU's performance whatsoever. If 1080p is your goal, you can easily spend under £200 and get a great experience. The RX 590 would fit the bill and comes with three free games. There's also the GTX 1660 which is a bit slower and doesn't have any freebies, but uses a lot less power. There's also the RX 570 if you want to spend a bit less or the Vega 56 if your budget is a bit more (which also come with two and three free games respectively). The RX 580 isn't really worth considering right now, since RX 590 prices have come right down to almost the same level, and personally I wouldn't be buying a GTX 1060 at this point.Unsure of refresh rate as yet as I’m still researching best 1080p tv....
Do playing on a tv put more stress on the graphic card than playing on a monitor in 1080p??
