What graphics card for 1440p

Im aware of big Navi around the corner, would a 5700XT handle it, hoping to nab a cheap one after navi launch

Definitely worth waiting for even nvidia to drop their cards as it could shake up the pricing a bit. I think big navi though is not likely till early November so that will seem a while to wait.

Not if you want it to hold 144 fps it won't, but playable yeah.

Personally as the 5700XT have been out long enough now (unless you can pick one up discounted), your nearly buying at the release of the next wave at least wait to see whats on offer before dumping £350+

Depending on what game and what fidelity.

Some games you won't hit 144fps even with a 2080 Ti with settings cranked up.
