What Graphics card for me?

What graphics card would be best suitable for these games.

PUBG
Paladins
Warframe
Fortnite

I have a Ryzen 5 1600 set up with 16gb of RAM and a 550w PSU and lots of fans lol

I was thinking something like a RX580?

Budget second hand or brand new £260

I'd suggest either the RX580 you've already thought of or a 6gb GTX 1060, assuming 1080p. They're quite closely matched

I run at 1440p is there much difference?

EDIT: I can only get the mini (1fan) GTX 1060 for that price :/

At 1440p I'd suggest either a 1070, 1070ti or 1080 but they're outside your budget sadly

Well yes, as I've got a Gsync monitor. If I didn't I'd pick whatever I fancied on the day

UK RMA, better cooler, longer warranty.

But the 1060 will sometimes struggle at 1440p. I would be looking at a 2nd hand GTX 1070 or higher for that.

Note, PUBG is heavily under optimised and is a memory hog, so 16GB will greatly benefit this game. As is Fortnite.

A used 980ti could be worth a shout if you can find one at the right price.

Obviously, you take your chances used though.

only PUBG would be the most demanding out that list with what would seem fortnite to be closely in 2nd, used 380/390(x models included) should do or find a bargain 980, or just spend a bit under your £260 and buy a brand new 6gb 1060 and adjust your settings to suit.

I would take a 1060 over a 980. Having played on both, they are very similar in performance. However, with a 1060 you get the warranty, it runs a lot cooler and is more likely to benefit from future driver updates

Also as you have Ryzen there are one or two instances where the AMD cards seemed to have played better with the CPU(apparently).

The added 2GB of VRAM might also be useful for any VRAM heavy games too.
