Is it worth getting anything apart from a Geforce 8800?

if i only had £200 then would i be wasting my hard earned ££££

whats the next best thing?

in the same boat here dont want to sink serious dough into a dx9 card was considering the x1950pro but it would be £130 less for a dx10 card so i am holding out just now to see what happens after christmas

if you cant wait your options are 7900gto getting harder to find even at £200 these days or a 7950gt on the ati side there is the x1950xt both of these cards come in 256mb or 512mb flavours at about the £200 mark if you shop around

I bought an OC Galaxy 7900 GS as a stop gap until Vista / DX10 / more sensible priced next gen cards come out. More than happy with it.
