what graphics card would you suggest for my new rig ?

The monitor is LG 22 INCH WIDE LED FULL HD DVI-D HDMI BLACK MONITOR

both Hard Drives have been formatted and have the software installed ready for use:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Microsoft Office 2010 Professional

now the graphics card with it seems pretty bad ? but for 500£ i had to buy it and was wondering what you would advise as a replacment grapics card ? with a £100 budget ?

Your motherboard doesn't support dual graphics cards unfortunately.

What power supply do you have? A 6850 has similar power consumption to the 5770 so you should be fine with your current PSU actually.

Also what is your current graphics card, will be either a 5750 or a 5770? If your don't know, download and install a programme called GPU-Z.

Here's a comparison between a 5770 and a 6850.

5870 is a good option then - its comparable to 6950/560ti 1gb, but much cheaper- highly recommended!

i have had both a HD6850 and a GTX460 (albeit the 2GB model) and found the GXT460 seemed to be better for games, i found AMD cards had stuttering, but i think thats hit and miss with what games you play. perfomance wise though, in the games i had no problems with the HD6850 there was little in it, so its down to personal preference there. have just got my GTX560 today as replacment for my faulty GTX460, and its better, so if you can find the GTX560Ti second hand in your budget that will be better still.
