What Graphics Card?

Hello,

What gfx card would be right for a skt 478 2.8 p4? I have been looking at ATI 9800's and Geforce 6600's second hand. According to the ORB the 6600 gives the far better score on 3dmark 2003 which seems odd as they are roughly the same price?

i had a 2.6p4 once i would say get a x850 either pro or xt or xt pe !!or the x800 series just sold mine for £90 with del just now way faster than the 6600 i would say the x800 are par to 6800 gt and the x850 are about 10% faster near the 7600gt area not as fast as the 7600gt but near

just got a 6600gt after having the 9800pro as that blew, due to my own fault. Both really good budget cards 9800pro is amazing for the money and will still play most games.

The 6600gt is a bit faster, but only game i really play is css and no complaints does everything i need. So i would go with the 6600gt if you had to choose between the two and maybe oc it slightly
