What graphics card?

Which one?
768MB BFG Technology 8800GTX
or
768MB Asus 8800 Ultra

Whats BFG like becuase I've never seem them before and are they new or something?

Also, does anyone know the chipset features of each card because their websites don't have them.

ultra is above GTX

and, as you'd expect, they're more expensive.

And i don't think BFG are particularly new, they're meant to be pretty good.

BFG are very good cards, they've been around for years, offer lifetime warranty, and have an excellent RMA service, highly regarded.

Id get the GTX, as the Ultra is not worth the extra, GTX would clock to those speeds, plus id just buy the cheapest as they are all the same cards, just have differing warranty length's, software you get with them, and the the GTX/Ultra's are EOL now as theres new cards coming, suppsoedly an 8 series X2 card Jan/Feb time, then the new 9 series not long after, which are rumoured to be about twice as fast.

The Memory on the Ultra should do 2400mhz or very near it, the GTX will not and also wont reach same Core as the Ultra when OC'd

But as above I would not buy an Ultra today, buy a GT/GT512/Cheapest GTX (OCUK) or wait 8weeks or so on new Gen.

AFAIK BFG appeared in full public view in UK around 6000 series time, I did not know them before that (may have been there but not in my face), like Leadtek/MSI/Asus/EVGA, etc etc
