Yes i know another what graphics card question :eek:
Looking to replace my current 6870 xfire setup with a new card but cant decide which ??
My thoughts are either:
590
6990
7990
Or maybe another xfire or sli set up ?

I want to beable to play games on ultra settings and not have to worry about lag
Read a lot of reviews and opinions but cant make my mind up ?
I currently play WoW and BF3

I would disregard the 590 and 6990, and either get dual 7970's (£800+), wait for 7990(£700+ perhaps), or get a pair of 7950's in a few days (£700 ish).

No news on Nvidia's Kepler at this time.

What resolution do you game on, as I run 1920x1080 and I can max the settings in BF3 and get 60-110fps vsync off, or constant 60fps, smooth as hot runny butter with vsync on on a single overclocked 7970.

No, a pair 6950's will out perform the 7970 and be slightly cheaper, and give you the best return at your res. The single GPU would be as said above the 7970. The advantage of the 7970 is that in the future you can add another 7970 or 7950 both of which have more vram, might be handy for future vram sapping games.

Edit:
The same would apply if you waited and got a 7950.
