What Grapjics card to buy

Hey Ive got pretty standard computer windows 7 dual core 2.6 4gig ram but I need to a graphics card and im not sure how much i should spend and what to get.

I want to play games like Civ 5 and Empire Total War and Ruse and all the geeky **** any ideas what to get??

Well, I anticipate a deluge of 460 recommendations.

However, due to your cpu being the limiting factor, I would probably have to agree, a 460 is probably a good balance/buy for you.

Get a 1gb card....

Also overclock that cpu.... it will definetly unlock more fps from the gpu.....

edit... note ATI 6000 series is a few months away, possibly sooner.

If you wanted a more powerfull card, then I would think, you would *ideally* need a cpu upgrade....

Depends on your budget..... I dont know how well 5850 and 470 run with core two duo's... are they bottlenecked??

Thye will defo be bottlenecked at your cpu freq, thats for sure.
