What guitars work with Band Hero?

I'll be getting band hero for the pre xmas festivities. Just wondered if anyone knew which guitars (from other versions such as GH and RB) would work.

The guitar hero guitars work with it (same company made both games) I dont think the rock band ones do though but someone may wish to clarify this. Band hero is all pop songs though...eww

While I do not actually own the game, I would imagine all of them would work fine.

Yeah, you'd think, but unfortunately, that's not the case. So I guess if I stick with GH guitarts, BH should be kosher

Also, what controller (out of the box) is best. I don't really want to pay Logitech prices for their guitart

The GH4/GH5 guitar is the best one, GH3 ones are decent, avoid the cabled GH2 ones, although they do the job and can be had very cheap.

Rockband guitars don't work in GH games, but GH guitars work in RB1/2

Wrong, they work in all GH games since World Tour.

I was thinking of getting GH5 as it comes with the digital controller and then a quick copy of Band Hero!

Misinformation overload!!

Any guitar (RB/GH) works in any game (GH/RB) since RB1 (with PS3 update) and GHWT.

Rock Band guitar will work on all games EXCEPT GH2 and GH3
GH2 Guitar works on them all
GH3 Guitar Works on them all
Rinse and repeat for ALL GH guitars.
