What happens if you buy something that has been mispriced?

Just bought MSI R9 270x 4GB for £108. I think it must have been mispriced on the site I got it on (not overclockers). If this is the case, what usually happens? Or is it different for every site?

I would imagine one of three things would happen

1. The mistake is realised before the item is shipped - you will receive a full refund and no product
2. You get lucky and it is not noticed for the first few orders - you receive the card at the low price and are happy
3. The card is shipped and you receive it then they realize their mistake - they will probably offer to collect the card and refund you in full or ask you to pay the difference to the correct price

I can't see them trying that. If they don't realise their mistake until it is already with you then they have no right to ask for any additional money when it was bought at the listed price.

I would guess if it really is a mistake then they will honour the price unless masses of people try buy it.

4. They send you a 270 as the listing was a mistake and you shout at them.

I am assuming you think the price is too low, if so I souldn worry. On the other hand if the listing was an overcharge I would be storming onto my email immediately.

I would be careful with this card though. It spews out enough heat to rival a volcano
(have one myself) despite that it works well if you got one that dosnt have one of the usual issues

If you read the t&c's on most online shops they say, the contract to provide goods does not come into affect until the item is shipped so if they ship it, it's as good as yours.

I would expect it to be cancelled and refunded though.

Found it, the site has it listed as "ordered upon request" so it will probably be checked and rejected/refunded.

Update: The product has been discontinued on that site. My order is still being processed but since nothing has shipped and no money has been taken out of my account, I'm guessing they're just going to cancel the order. I read their T&C and there's a section about pricing that implies I won't get this card.
