I was trying to fix a no POST issue and thought I would clear the CMOS...while powered on. Everything just powered off immediatley and won't start up now. Do I need a new CMOS battery or is my motherboard doomed. I hope I did not damage other components too
I have an Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen3 motherboard and has a CLR CMOS switch on the back of the I/O panel
