Finally pulled me finger out me bum and had a play with Movie Maker so here's part I of my Walshy Day video.

Quite a few people on the forum with high performance cars and driver training is a great way to learn your limits and what to do when you exceed them in a safe environment.

Great vid. Looked like you was getting a bit peeved on the last couple goes there? :p

I look forward to Part 2 :D

Good vid that. :)

Enfield, If he uses 3rd he will have to keep a more exact amount of power surely due to engine braking being greater in 3rd then 4th at the same speed. 3rd is a better gear to be in if you were going round a track though.

Don't think I've explained the task that well, the aim wasn't get get round the corner as quickly as possible but rather to see what your maximum turn in speed was before you span/understeered over the drain. Lifting off the throttle and eventually braking was allowed. I used 4th gear as it gave me the best balance of power (still in the VVC zone) without masses of engine braking when I lifted of sharply. Obviously Walshy is a far superior driver so can manage the throttle position much more accurately.

I think you mean that it's off center? It's normal in quite a lot of performance cars as it makes it easier to feel when you have recentered the wheel.
