For music, a pair of Senn HD600s, driven by a Little dot IV valve amp. For gaming, a pair of ancient HD540 refs. On the move, a pair of 250 noise cancelling cans. Clearly, I like the presentation style of Senns. Yep, I have tried others, e.g Beyer, and even Stax electrostatic.

Sennheiser HD600 for music - getting on a bit now tho - might replace them with a pair of DT770 Pros.

For gaming Sennheiser PC163D - never found another headset this comfortable and by far the best sound quality out of any "gaming" headset (or at the very least up there with the best of them).

For on the move a pair of Sennheiser MX400 - you would not believe you were listening to such small drivers - the bass especially has the presence of a much larger driver - you do need strong driving tho to get the bass out of them.

A pair of goldring ns1000's, use them on the pc for gaming, music and movies. Gonna invest in a headset though, as due to the closed design, the goldrings arent ideal for use with a mic for voice comms in game. I find myself speaking far too loudly.

Denon D7000 for music.

Audio Technica AD700 for MP gaming, Ultrasone Pro900 for SP.

ATH-ES10 or Sennheiser HD25 for portable. (although generally IEMs)

Shamrock, have you tried the Denons for gaming? apparently they're awesome.

I use Beyerdynamic DT990 for gaming/music at home
on the go I use these (1964 Ears Quads, Custom IEMs) ...

Sennheisser PC360 + Astro Mixamp. By far and away the best gaming headset combination for competitive play.

Sennheiser PX100-ii for mobile music.

Sennheiser PX200-ii for commuting (not a big fan of these really as the PX100-ii are incredible).

I have started to always use the corsair hs1 on my computers as I feel they are very comfortable and provide balanced sound over the ranges of frequency. They sound amazing for movies! As they are USB they have provided me with consistent sound across all computers.
