What HTPC System Software?

Hi all,

Im building a new PC for the below purposes..

What Operating system and software would you recommend?

I have a Windows XP License or the choice of any free distro!!

Requirements

Share Folders/Files
Scheduele Downloads
Stream Media to PS3
Media Software for direct connection to TV

Why not try Windows 7 beta? It should have everything you need out of the box

I'm currently using Windows XP Pro with Media Portal and ffdshow codec. An alternative would probably be Mythbuntu.
