well not me personally but I can show you the light :p

http://www.petrolprices.com/

Sorry if its been posted before. I did a quick search and didn't come up with much. Basically just fill your details in and it will tell the the prices of petrol/diesel at all your local petrol stations so you can go the the cheapest :)

Enjoy......

Been using this over the past six months or so and it's a godsend.

The station I always used to fill up at is usually 1p/2p more that the new ones I go to.

I dont tend to even look for fuel prices, on a big fill up in the car its only going to save me 40p, I wouldnt go out of my way to save that sort of money. Morrisons are the cheapest in town here, so if I am on the way home from work I will use them, but thats only because I am there already.

I pass three petrol stations on the way to work and simply use whichever is the cheapest of the three. To go out my way and travel miles to save the odd penny a litre seems pointless. Cost of travel would erode the differance.

OMG?!?!?!?!?!!1111oneone

You saved at most 80p based on 40litres!

Seriously, unless there's a massive difference, don't bother :o

BP closest for me, and I like my necter card :p

Just searched for me and my cheapest station is 3.79miles away, which is easily twice as far as I currently have to travel through possibly one of the worst junctions ever created unless it's at 3.52am :p

I'd rather pop down the road and pay 2p extra :o

Whenever I go to the petrol station I usually get 50litres of fuel.

Therefore I make sure I fill up at the cheapest station in Bristol. I don't tend to drive there but wait untill I am passing one (there are loads with the same lowest price) and fill there.

If I filled at one of the others it would cost me between £2-£5 more. It's not worth driving to a cheap station but worth planning the day so to fill up when passing a cheap one I think as thats about £10-£20 a month for me, £100-
£200 a year.

Where's the cheapest station around these parts? I just fill the CTR up at ASDA as it's only 2 mins away. I'm not sure if I should treat the Elise to something a bit better than ASDA petrol though

I find it's either the Tesco near my house in Brislington, the Shell garage on the Bath Road near Lotus Garage or the Texaco Carage at the bottom of Coronation Rd (Near Fowlers).

I just stick any 95ron stuff in the Mondeo. I don't think there is really much difference.

Firstly...omg?!?!oneone shut up.

Secondly, yeah 80p per fill up - that's 2 packets of winegums, numpty.

Heehee this web site is a hoot, the distance is the way the crow flies, so to get to my cheapest i need to cross over a river, as such i need to go to a tunnel or bridge, which the site doesnt make allowances for. (would be at least 10 miles away through urban traffic
Although that would take me about 15-20 mins there and back, where as the 2nd cheapest is my Local Tesco for its lovely Tesco Super unleaded at 1p a liter more :D
Its a good idea though

works well for me, station less than one mile away on an alternative route to town. Was suprised to see a shell station on my cheapest list though! (91.9p)
