Hi all, I've been using photobucket for years to upload and share images, but since the photobucket uploader extension doesn't exist on chrome, and they've updated their site to make it even less efficient, I'm in the market for a new site.

What I want is something I can really easily upload images to, resize to forum rules, and then share with img tags. That's it. If I can upload to it from url (or by right clicking on web image) then that's a real bonus.

Which one do I go for?

Thanks!

I use them because they have a decent app on Windows Phone, it's fast, it keeps my upload listed without subscription and I can post via my phone quickly.

I'm considering a windows8 phone for my upgrade in march, so this is good info.

I miss the firefox app for photobucket, but I do prefer chrome (my slow interwebs means seeing the page as it loads is beneficial). I've switched off the new version of the site, but it was something I had been thinking about changing for a while now.

I think Imgur might be the way forwards. Thanks chaps.

E: I'm liking it. Does the "large thumbnail" option just change your view or does it mean the image you embed is a large thumbnail (if so what size is it?). Could be handy indeed.

EE: Okay that is sick. The large thumbnail option resizes perfectly for the forum without me having to do anything myself. Loving that so much.

HUGS!

I'm still using photobucket as I have over 2k pictures stored on there, it is getting slowly worse though, I went back to the old style but how long until the new style is forced upon us?

Exactly. I have to say the Imgur site has really impressed me. Load site, register with my google account (took 2 seconds), drag images onto page, choose full size or forum size (large thumbnail), copy IMG tag code to post. Done. Just discovered a good extension for chrome too. I'm sold.
