What incredible single player titles have I missed over the last 6 years?

I've been out of PC gaming properly for some 6 years. What great games have I missed out on over the years?

I'm open minded on platforms and I would like to play a game with an end goal (to completion in mind). Due to various commitments, I cannot afford to touch online games. So it must be single player with an end goal (to completion in mind) unless it has an end goal like Borderlands 2.

A few that I managed to catch up on over the years are:

Dishonoured
Shadow of Mordor (LOVED this)
Batman Arkham + City
Crysis Series
Portal 2
Borderlands 2 (This was fun being online as there was a collective end goal)
Company of Heroes
Metro 2033 (wasn't a big fan, had a fair bit of motion sickness)
Bioshock Infinite
Far Cry 3

It must be relatively easy to get back into after weeks (months off) so that rules out a lot of RPG games and games like Civilization (that rack up too much time and no real end goal).

My current rig is an i5 (clocked to 4ghz), 16GB RAM, Samsung SSD and 6850 Clocked. I'm not particularly bothered about high settings.

Excellent list here to start with! I'm definitely picking up the tomb raiders to start with as they slipped my radar.

Have there been any great FPS's since HL2?

Limbo

I made a start on Limbo today, spent a solid 2 hours without realising. Great fun and a great atmosphere!
