What instrument/effect is used on this classic ?

The scene from FLash Gordon where the Hawkmen attack the War Rocket (lol)

I'm specifically talking about the instrument that plays the main theme part.

Is it some kind of organ/synth or guitar pedal effect?

Any Queen fans or Music Tech geeks know ?

Years ago at school we had these strange little keyboard organs that you had to blow into while playing to power them, so to speak...

Any relation ?

Could have been Korg, Roland, Yamaha... when was the film released? 1980? 1981? So you'd have been dealing with analog synths primarily from the 70s.
