what internet to get??

hi guys

well i am moving in to a new house on sunday it has no internet and has a disconnected ntl phone line.

so whats the fastest or best i can get for the price then?

as some people have said good things about o2 and orange but i dont know where to go and need to sort it out soon really.

also whats this cable and asdl thing??

Best place to start would be to see what your local exchange can actually manage, both speedwise and ISP-wise. Give this a go, and post your results.
I can see a lot of people recommending O2/Be if you can get either, they seem to have a pretty good service from what I've read on here.
