title pretty much says it all.

In a few build logs I've seen mention of the MCubed T-Balancer bigNG. I was just wondering what it is and exactly what it's used for?
I looked at the description on the website and it basically confused me.
I can get as far as it being a fan controller but after that I'm lost.

Cheers.

its a smart fan controller

you set up the fan profiles in windows very much like the aquareo

the good thing about it is that it controls your fans based on temperatures

the bad thing is that the bigNG doesnt have any software support updates recently.
personally if i was looking at a smart fan controller then the aquaero would be high on my list

Indeed, you have to update the COM port drivers yourself in windows 7 to stop it BSOD'ing on boot when you have the USB connected.

Good once its setup though

Oh, I see. Thanks.

Now this is probably in one of the reviews or something, but I'm being lazy. (Plus I value the opinion of actual users that use thing in real world situation over lab tests)
Where would you locate the temp sensors for water cooling and for cpu coolers?
How accurate are the sensors?

Getting tempted by one of these now.
I'm assuming you'd need to put the temp sensors between the CPU/GPU and the waterblock/cooler?
That could be annoying.

Also, can these control Apache fans?
